The death of Oscar LeBlanc of Memramcook East occurred Sunday night (3 décembre) at the Dr. Georges Dumont Hospital after a brief illness. He was 55.
 Born at Memramcook East, he was a son of the late Alphée and Emma (LeBlanc) LeBlanc. He was a carpenter and attended Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church, Memramcook East.
He is survived by his wife, the former Marie Berthe Gaudet; four daughters, Mrs. Donald Lirette (Jeannine) and Mrs. Ronald Lirette (Anise), both of Shediac, Mrs. Danny LeBlanc (Phyllis) of Memramcook East and Corinne, at home; five sons, Elie of Memramcook Lake, Francis, Gaston, Allain and Rhéal LeBlanc, all at home; three grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Roy Gould (Joseline) of Memramcook East, Mrs. Yvon Saulnier (Ella) of Memramcook and Mrs. Alyre Belliveau (Mélina) of St. Joseph; three brothers, Lawrence and Adélard, both of Breau's Creek, and Edward LeBlanc of Memramcook East.
The body is resting at Dupuis' funeral home, Memramcook. Mass will be celebrated at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of Lourdes Roman Catholic Church with interment in the parish cemetery.
